What Actually Changes the Price
A few things move the number more than anything else:
-
Size of the area being cleaned. More square footage means more time and more product.
-
How much has built up. A driveway with a season of pollen is a faster job than one with three years of embedded algae.
-
The surface itself. Vinyl siding, brick, wood, and asphalt shingles all call for a different method, and that affects labor time.
-
How easy the property is to access. Tight side yards, second-story sections, and fenced-in areas can add time to a job that would otherwise be quick.
Walking the property first is the only way to give you a number that holds up once the work starts. A number that changes halfway through the job doesn’t help anyone.
